Plant Signatures

Botanical grammar : species, strata, intent.

Plant Signatures examines species as design material — not for their botanical interest in isolation, but for what they bring to a system, a stratum, a room. Each text approaches a plant the way a designer approaches a stone or a wood : for its grain, its colour, its scale, its capacity to dialogue with architecture. Latin nomenclature throughout, because precision is part of the discipline.
